ABOUT

My name is Jericho Ryan Lo, my creative journey started when I was young. Unlike any other artists, who were effortlessly perfect and confident with their works at their early stage, I remember crying at kindergarten because I did not know how to draw a girl and a boy for a school activity. This memory has always been vivid whenever I am telling my creative journey, and it has become my drive to progress and to do better.

Decade has passed and I went to college. I took Entrepreneurship as my baccalaureate degree at De La Salle University, Philippines, where I developed my critical thinking and problem solving skills. The degree was able to expose me to different real-life business cases and company assessments. In addition to these, the program has given me a platform to start a simulated business where I applied my decision making skills, technical skills, and of course, financing.

Coming to a prestigious university like mine, gave me an opportunity to be active at student organizations whilst pursuing my studies. This is where I found my skills in graphic design. My organization, DLSU - Business Management Society, offered me platforms to explore and to learn different skills in leadership and project management. Through the projects that my organization had conducted, I was able to nurture graphic design skills by creating event posters and leading a creative team.

In desire of further improvement, I decided to take my formal education in Graphic Design at Vancouver Community College in Vancouver, Canada. I have learned so much over my stay; these learnings definitely improved my portfolio. I look forward to working for a design company in the future, and if it is possible, I hope I will be able to showcase my works in the film industry.
